It is hard to see how Conrad Laursen could avoid getting involved in motorsport. His father - Johnny Laursen - had his own car magazine, his own racing team and was even a Ferrari importer. The young Conrad did not have to look very far for inspiration to play with cars.
But talent is also required to make a mark and it quickly became apparent. At the age of 9, he won a Danish karting championship and this was followed up with another Danish championship a few years later, when he moved up to the car classes in Formula 4.
He had previously driven internationally in karting for several years and this was now followed up with a season and a half in Formula 4. He did not obtain that many great results, although he did take a victory in a race just ahead of Kimi Antonelli. In mid-2022, he instead turned to GT racing, where he teamed up with his father. The two also participated together at LeMans in 2024, where Conrad took the spotlight when he - as a debutant, mind you - distinguished himself with the fastest lap time in the LMGT3 category.
He then won the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe in the bronze category and is one of many young Danes who are well on their way in GT racing.
