Michael Christensen drove for AO Racing in 2024 in 'Rexy' - the green dinosaur Porsche, which was one of the crowd favorites in the race. The team started strongly with pole position in GTD Pro, but unfortunately this triggered an extra ballast for the race itself and it meant that it was uphill.
However, good tactical driving meant that the team was at the right end of the field towards the end and was able to strike when other teams ran into problems. However, they did not manage to take the last step on the podium.
