Casper Elgaard became a part of Le Mans history in 2011 as his car was the first hybrid-racecar starting at Le Mans.
That was probably the best that could be said about the car because the technology war clearly not ready for a 24-hour race. There were lots of issues with the car - and at the warm-up lap the car stopped which meant the team had to start from the back of the grid.
The first few hours went well but then a technical issue required a long pitstop and from then the car visited the pit often until the team gave up and retired during the night.
