Juan Barazis team was late with their preparations for Le Mans 2009. It was not until a week before the race that the last driver was announced. However, they put up a good fight in the race and came fourth in the LMP2 class.
More than half of the LMP2 entries retired from the race and Juan Barazis team did also have their issues. A broken throttle wire and a broken exhaust were among the problems they had to solve at their way to the finish.
