In 2010 Juan Barazi was driving an LMP1 racer at Le Mans for the first time. Choosing him as one of the drivers in the Aston Martin team was a bit of a surprise and the car was not thought of as the lead Aston Martin.
However it did not last long before Juan Barazi and his team was the best Aston Martin in the race and they kept this position for most of the 24 hours. They were heading for a great result as the best petrol-driven car - after the 3 diesel-Audis - when the unfortunately had to retire from 4th place shortly before the finish.
