Lars Erik Nielsen drove the Merdeka Millennium Endurance 2007 for Team Hong Leong-Kencana Racing in a Porsche. The race was a 12-hour race that was held on the Malaysian Sepang circuit from 2000 to 2016. It didn't start well for the team, who destroyed an engine during practice and had to switch to a well-used spare engine. However, it was able to handle the pressure and after qualifying in 4th place, the team was able to drive home a victory.
