Mikkel Jensen drove for PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports in an Oreca for the Daytona 24H in 2021. It looked really good for the team at the start. The car had been put on pole position in qualifying and in the first hours it was clear that this was not by coincidence.
But then things began to fall apart. First an engine problem cost 8 laps and later trouble with the starter set the team even further back and in the end also caused them to retire. Very unfortunate as there was potential for a great result. The 3 fastest laps in the class belonged to 3 of the drivers from the team!
