2012 was a bad year for the 'Danish' Aston Martin. In fact the whole race was a long string of various problems.
The car took some damage after an off early in the race but this was fixed. Worse was a repeating electrical problem which apparently was hard to solve.
Early in the night the team gave up and the car was retired - Christoffer Nygaard didn't get to drive.
