Mikkel O. Pedersen started - as most young drivers - at a very young age in karts. When he turned 15, he was ready for cars and in his first year he won the Danish Championship in Formula Ford Zetec.
The next step was a bit unusual for a young single seater driver. Mikkel had always dreamt of racing a Porsche and he drove a few years in a 911 GT3 in Denmark. He also made his mak in Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and that opened a door to the Porsche Supercup. This meant driving at the big racetracks outside Denmark as support for Formula 1. During 3 years in the Supercup he made steady progress and the peak was a 2. place in the streets of Monaco in 2019.
