Kevin Magnussen drove for Chip Ganassi Racing in a Cadillac for the Daytona 24H in 2021. It was his debut in a 24-hour race, but it wasn't easy to see as he and the team throughout the race were locked in a battle for the overall victory. With a short time to go, the team was in second place immediately behind the leader, but after several failed attempts to overtake, they had to pull into the pits with a puncture just 7 minutes before the end.
