Casper Elgaard began his motorsport career in karts before changing to single-seaters when he got old enough. But it is in touring cars he has made himself a name in Denmark. 3 years in a row he won the Danish Touringcar Championship facing hard competition from internationally well known drivers as Jan Magnussen and John Nielsen.
He has also raced prototypes and GT-cars - primarily at LeMans. The best results in this category has been victories in the 1000 km race at Spa Francorchamps in 2005 and 2009 and most important in the LMP2 class at LeMans in 2009.
Since then Casper Elgaard has primarily raced in Danish championships. Several times he has been crowned as champion - both as a driver but also as a team owner.
