In 2018 David Heinemeier Hansson was driving for 3GT Racing in the IMSA WeaterTech SportsCar Championship. The car was a Lexus RC F GT3 the team developed in cooperation with Lexus. It was not a huge success for David Heinemeier Hansson, who never reached the podium.
