Mikkel O. Pedersen drove for Proton Competition in 2024. The expectations for the race were not high, because during testing the car had not exactly seemed promising. It turned out to be caused by a crack in the front suspension and when it was fixed, things started to go forward. During the race itself there were a few small problems, and the team - like everyone else - had to deal with the unpredictable weather conditions. However, things worked in the team's direction and a podium place began to beckon ahead. It was successful - and it was a big surprise considering the lead-up. On top of that, it was the first time Mikkel had finished at Le Mans and is there a better way to do that at the podium?
