Valdemar Eriksen »
Valdemar Eriksen started driving go-karts in the USA, where he lived until he was 11 years old. There he won a Rotax Micro championship at the age of 9, before the family moved to Denmark in 2014.
He continued racing at the go-kart tracks in Denmark, but in 2017 he began testing Formula cars. In the following years he gathered experience in Formula 4 and 3 cars in both Denmark and abroad.
In 2020, Valdemar reached a crossroads. Despite the fact that he had promising results in the tough Spanish F4 series, he figured that the future prospects within Formula cars were both expensive and uncertain, which is why he made a switch to GT cars for 2021.
And he made a wholehearted commitment to the new car type. He drove for Team WRT abroad, but in order to gather further experience he simultaneously set up his own team to drive the Danish Endurance Cup in Denmark in an Audi similar to the one he drove abroad. It was rewarded with a Danish championship in 2021.
For the 2023 season, he switched to prototypes with participation in the Asian and European Le Mans Series in an LMP3 racer.
