Le Mans 2019 was a race Marco Sørensen probably will prefer to forget. It started well when the team took pole position, but already before the start they feared they would not be able to keep the pace during the race. This quickly became a fact as the Aston Martin slowly dropped down the leaderboard. Shortly after midnight it was suddenly all over when Marco Sørensen had a high speed crash which destroyed the car. Luckily he got away with minor injuries.
