The 24 hour race a Spa in 2021 was - as usual - a though task. The infamous sudden weather changes so typical for the Belgian track played a huge role in the race and made it extremely hard for the drivers.
Marco Sørensen and Nicki Thiim is a highly experienced 24-hour race drivers and this helped them in 2021. They drove a solid race - without any errors - and in the difficult conditions this was the key to a good result. However, in the hectic final minutes where the race was resumed after a safetycar with just 27 minutes left they could not follow the leaders and had to settle for 3rd place.
