In 2016 Michael Christensen saw a decent result in the Nürburgring 24 Hours disappear up into thin air a few hours before the finish.
The team started in 12th position but had fought their way up to 6th when the engine suddenly died and refused to fire again.
There was no way to get the car going back to the pit so the team had to retire.
