Michael Christensen drove for the Manthey-team in a brand new Porsche 911 GT3 R in the final VLN-race (the 43. DMV Münsterlandpokal). The purpose of the race was to develop and test the new car prior to the 2019 season. Thus it was entered in an experimental class - SPX. The team was the second fastest SPX during the whole race and they also ended up as second.
