Michael Christensen drove for Porsche in 2023. He got off to a good start and was even briefly leading the race within the first few hours. But then the car started to cause problems and there were several unscheduled pit stops along the way, which meant the team slid down the results list.
On the occasion of Porsche's 75th anniversary - and the 100th anniversary of the Le Mans race - Porsche came up with a unique decoration for their cars. A very colorful one of a kind, where each color represented a previous Porsche racer at Le Mans. Blue and orange for the legendary Gulf Porsches, pink for the 'Pink Pig' racer, etc.
