The Daytona 24 Hours 2017 was a challenging task for Michael Christensen who was on loan from Porsche to an american team.
The team was racing in the Daytona 24 Hours for the first time but that did not hold them back. They were at once among the frontrunners and during the night Michael Christensen drove the car into the class lead. However unusual cold and rainy weather made it very challenging for the drivers, and the team dropped back again.
With two hours left Michael Christensen entered the car and he succeeded in fighting back from 7th to secure victory in the GTD-class.
