The tricky weather in the Nürburgring area put up a huge challenge for the drivers in 2013. The race began at a dry track but soon the heavens opened and when it got dark fog covered the track and the race had to be suspended.
When day broke the race was restarted. The fog was gone, but it was still raining which also made the final hours a challenge. But Nicki Thiim and his team kept it straight and drove their car to victory.
