Comments

Michael Christensen drove his first Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2013 and it was a tough race.

Shortly after he came into the car it began raining heavily and he had to nurse the car 15 km back to the pit on slicks. After being fitted with rain tyres he continued but as it got dark a new problem occured. The darkness and the rain combined meant that he found it difficult to anticipate the many hilltops at the circuit and the whole thing turned into a rollercoaster ride that simply made him sick.

Later on the race was stopped for 10 hours due to the bad weather, but even if the conditions had improved when the race got going again, Michael Christensen and his team would not reach the finish line. An hour before the finish one of the other drivers hit the guardrails and the car went no further.
