Nicki Thiim drove the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring for ABT Sportsline. It started off really well with a 3rd place in qualifying, but early in the race the team suffered two punctures - something that can cost a lot of time on a track as long as the Nordschleife. After 3 hours they were down to 35th, but then 21 problem-free hours followed. Not once did the Lamborghini need to be serviced for anything other than routine checks, tyres and fuel, and with the pace from qualifying still there, the team fought their way through the field and just barely made it into the top 10.
