Sebring 2009 was the debut for the Audi R15. A succesfull debut as Tom Kristensen won his 5th victory at Sebring. But it was a hard fight all the way to the flag. The Peugeot at 2nd place was only 22 seconds behind at the finish. The intense fight also resulted in a new distance record for the race with the winners doing 383 laps.
