The small details worked against Tom Kristensen at Le Mans in 2012. Things were rosy early sunday morning, when his Audi took the lead after the leading Audi had a minor accident and required an unscheduled pitstop. But a bit later a safetycar was called at a very bad time for Toms team and they fell back to second. They could not retake the lead and finished as runner-up.
