Sebring 2013 did not start well for Tom Kristensen. During practice Allan McNish hit the barriers with the Audi. He was not hurt, but the car was and the Audi team had to work hard to rebuild the car.

They did a good job because during the race the car performed as planned. Audi controlled the race and took a convincingly 1-2 with Tom Kristensens car coming second.
