After qualifying it did not look like Audi would have a say in Le Mans 2010. Peugeot dominated and the 3 works cars - and even the customer Oreca car - were all significantly faster than the Audis.

However, when it came to the race the Peugeots could not ran into trouble. While the Audis ran like clockwork all Peugeots had to retire - 3 with broken engines.

The distance record - held by Porsche since 1971 - was broken by Tom Kristensen and his team, but the other 2 Audis ran even further so Tom finished at 3rd place.
