Le Mans 2014 was one long fightback for Jan Magnussen. An ill judged pitstop for rain tyres and a few safetycar periods that worked against the team, meant that they were only 6th Saturday evening.
But from then it was forward. The progress stopped at second place, though. Even if Magnussens team was faster than the leaders there was not enough time left in the race to put on a fight.
